the mekong is one of e world's major river, stretching from china all e way through burma, laos, thailand, cambodia & vietnam. according to wikipedia, it's e world's 12th longest & 7th longest in asia.

we took abt 3 hrs bus journey from HCMC to reach e mekong region. from there, we had numerous boat rides on diff kinds of boat (from e rowing sampan to e big motor driven ones) to cruise along e river, down e streams, visiting e villages & its sights.
