ok, bet everyone is wondering how i'm doing in china. dun worry i'm adapting well, in fact i'm leading a luxurious life there! haha... jun is treated like a VIP wherever she goes... she eats meals in restaurants' dinning suite wif attached toilet & kitchen (yes, there's a kitchen inside the suite!!!) plus sofa & LCD tv, she stays in a deluxe business room all by herself (yes, it's 1 person per room!) in a super posh hotel, she has her client paying for all her needs (dun ask me where's my independence cos apparantly it's the norm here!), she goes to work at 9plus & ends work on the dot at 6 (yes, no OT!), she has a chauffer driving her everywhere, she eats delicacies for every meal (so much dat i long for cup noodles now...) & finally... she is a happy little gal! =)

this is xiamen, fujian. so if u imagine it to be a ulu place, then u r wrong. haha... cos it's exactly like our CBD!

this is my hotel in jinjiang, the place where my client is. jinjiang is an hr's drive from xiamen. it's less developed of course, but still quite ok la, not ulu.

my bathroom wif a see thru panel into e room(can lower the blinds of course!)\ the big big double bed\ the LCD Tv & LCD computer\ the bartop counter

i even hav a water dispenser inside my room! lol!

gavi outing at dragon gate restaurant ytd. think we set a record by eating a 3 hrs long tim sum buffet, ordering almost a 100 carts! haha... iris was the marathon eater, she actually completed the race while the rest gave up halfway. this is how u dun judge a book by its cover, thou she's like the skinnest gal, apparantly she's well-known for her big appetite in DT, beating all the guys hands down! lol!

ok, peak period is coming, gambette everyone~~ let's hope we can all complete the race!

yeah!!! kian completed yet another marathon~~ this time round wif a timing even better than last yr! every yr when i'm at e padang to wait for kian's arrival at the finishing line, i'll be so overwhelmed by all e runners, from teenages to working adults to family men, each & every one of them r so full of confidence & proud of their achievements. seeing the wives supporting & cheering for their husbands, children cheering for their daddies, i'm so motivated dat i've decided i'm joining nx yr --- as a runner --- running half marathon of course, full one sure die. haha... kian said he'll run e half marathon wif me nx yr.

std char marathon is held on the first sunday of every december & it's really a popular event. soooooooooo many of our frenz joined~~ for the full marathon, there's rongyang, andrew, bernard, kenneth, qiaoqin, etc. for half marathon, there's youchun (supposedly to run wif raine), joyce & her mum, bain & wilfred, jingfen, meiling, etc. ok, jun will be in the list nx yr! haha...

took some time to research on the place dat i'll be flying to nx wk. first stop dat i’ll be gg is Fujian, one of the provinces on the southeast coast of china. It’s bordered by Zhejiang to e north, Jiangxi to e west, Guangdong to e south & finally Taiwan to the east across the Taiwan strait. (haha… wonder if I can go Taiwan first?) Now I noe y taiwan ppl speak hokkien, cos it used to be under e Fujian province from 1684 to 1887! Fujian is famous for its cuisine, with an emphasis on seafood & the most prestigeful dish Fotiaoqiang (Buddha jump over the wall). It leads in the production of longan & lychees, and the famous Oolong tea oso origined from there.

The company dat I’ll be doing IPO is located in Jinjiang, a city in Fujian. 8 ppl will be flying wif me, including 1 partner, 1 manager, 1 senior, 2 A2 & 3A1. right now i'm busy wif all the admin stuffs dat i need to settle, like getting laptop insurance, applying visa, buying winter wear, etc. i've alr decided dat i'll bring a webcam so dat i can see kian at nite! haha... plus not forgetting my piglet! hmm... think i'll bring a few photos to put in my room too~
