treated kian to dinner @ Kyoto Sabo AjiTei in PS wif my bonus. it's our first time trying this jap restaurant as Ichiban has always been our no 1 choice. nice food, reasonable price & we esp liked e design of e restaurant as it gives a cosy feeling. but service was relatively inefficient, guess it was something u've got to compromise during peak hrs.
seems like it's a series of bad services at jap reataurants for me recently. first it was sushi tei @ vivo, bad attitude waitress, inefficient svc, & ultimately switching off e aircon to chase us out. come on, if this is e svc dat sushi tei gives, then we r not gg to step into ur restaurant ever again! *humph*
did i mention dat i'm now stationed at harbourfront doin an IPO for a shipping co? yup, so at e end of my engagement i'll be familiar wif all e eateries @ vivo & harbourfront. there's this craze for the mushroom rice @ kim gary in vivo amg my team mates recently & my darling manager treated us lunch there on fri. their mushroom rice is jus like wat pepper lunch is selling, at a cheaper price. i've oso tried their curry, which is another of their speciality. so long as u dun order their maggi mee lookalike items, e rest r all worth trying.

kian & i met up wif cheryl & mook. it was another catching up session wif each other's life, wif cheryl telling us abt her work @ psa while we brought her insights of audit. she was filled wif envy when she heard dat auditors can actually take wks of hols like nobody's biz. said e longest her boss ever took was 3 days! lol! oh, there's a colleague who took a 2 wks break, but she has served in the co for 10 yrs, so mook analysed & said dat this is a long svc leave award, which cheryl is definitely not eligible! *faints*
the worse thing is there's no off peak season for her. seems like audit is quite a good choice after all. at least we get to enjoy long breaks like students & we can go on mth long overseas trip without any worries abt not having enuff leaves, or workload pilling up when we got back. i mean, which job in e world can give u tons of leaves except audit?! even cheryl think dat the few hundred dollars of pay more than us is definitely not worth it. but too bad, she's bonded for 4 yrs. & her colleagues r all married aunties & uncles, wif nobody of our age, so there's no motivation to go to work either!

sang ktv consecutively for 2 days last wk & it was super xiong (on my pockets) cos of e public hol! i noe it's still peak period for everyone, but sorry it's off peak for ms ang here. lol! mr sim commented dat i haven even started & it's e end! actually i'm quite surprised myself too when my boss declared off peak. *faints*

my manager violet (extreme left) & senior daisy (extreme right) singing~~ daisy is e same age as kian, but she's alr a mother! incredible right?!?!? she's my fairy daisy cos she's really pretty & super slim even after childbirth.

yeah! tmr is bonus day! haha... actually all along i've nv bothered abt when is pay day, cos like wat mr kong has said, it doesnt matter to me anyway as it's jus a small percentage of increment in my bank a/c. *sheesh* no la, i jus dun bother. lol!

anyway, as it's my first bonus, of course muz place some significance on it. i've alr forgotten when did i really get my first pay, shd be ard 18 or 19 ba. think i've done all kinds of jobs ever since after A lvls. i was an actress, sound tech, backstage helper, music creator, marketing, sales, teacher, tutor, accounts assitant, blah blah blah e list goes on... but all these jobs hav no bonus at all, so i can officially declare dat i'm getting my first bonus tmr! haha~~ ok, i'm crappy~~

ok, it did move me to tears, but besides dat, there's nothin else. typical kor/jap story plot wif everything so predictable dat u dun hav to watch in order to noe wat happens nx. they fell in luv. he left her when he knew he has cancer. she is kept in e dark. there's another guy who stayed by her side. she discovered e truth. he died. the end.

sorry, not to belittle e show, but dat's really how silly e storyline is. maybe i watched too much dramas, so i find it so repeatative, but even kian who dun watch any dramas feels e same way as me too. he's alr falling asleep right at e start of e movie lor! can e kor/jap movie industry come up wif something new?

if ya jus wanna to go in & hav e good cry, then this is e movie for ya. kian & i sat at e couple seats row & there's this single seat jus beside us. kian ended up being more interested watching e woman sitting in dat seat cos she came in wif lotsa snacks & kept eating throughout e show wif lotsa sniffing in between. he said she feels so pitiful...

sat was spent mahjonging at kenneth's house wif derrick & xue. hightlight of the day was when a hornet decided to disrupt our mj session by taking e lift up to e 32nd floor & flew right inside e house. it was an absolutely comical scene! wif derrick & xue hiding everywhere while kenneth & i spent all our energy to communicate wif e little hornet! lol! but it was super fun! haha...
made chinese tea for them after a pizza dinner. yesh, i actually brought my whole set of 茶具
over to show off my tea making skills! haha... did i mention dat my client gave me a whole set of 茶具? i've got 2 sets actually, 1 is a travel set while e other is for home use. so nx time i can go ard to everyone's house & make tea for u all! :)

i'm back in spore! haha... it was a hilarious scene at xiamen airport, cos all 6 of us exceeded e baggage limit & we keep worrying dat we got to pay extra. we even came up wif reasons like audit files too heavy so dat we can claim. lol~~ but luckily we r not ask to pay. i actually came back wif 28.5kg when i oni went wif 16kg!
