met up wif wanxin ytd for lunch, it’s been sooooo long since I last seen her dat we jus sat at cartel for 4 whole hrs to do our catching up! Haha… the cashier muz be surprised to receive a set lunch bill during dinner hrs! feels so gd chatting wif wanxin, coz we hav so many similarities & share each other’s thoughts exactly. We can jus talk & talk & talk until no day no nite… from our families, our frens, to r/s, to everything abt our lives! We even chatted abt Liverpool, coz wanxin is a Liverpool fan! Haha… she was so excited dat she finally found someone to talk abt Liverpool, coz her bf doesn’t watch soccer at all & noe nuts abt soccer!

We realized 80% of the population of S45 r gg to be accountants in future. So no matter where I go, we all be working colleagues nx time. But wx noe me well, she noe I wont wan to be an accountant, coz dat’s so not me at all! Haha… but I told her wat kian said to me, the world is not jus abt u oni… dat’s the reality of life, ppl do not pursue their dreams not bcoz they r restricted, but bcoz they luv & care abt those ard them, & they wanna take care of their families, ensure dat they’ll be happy & hav a gd life… it’s bcoz we loved those ard us dat we become so practical in everything we do. Especially if u r the eldest in the family wif retired parents & younger siblings, the livelihood of the whole family will ultimately depend on u…

Here am i blasting my music away. mind has been occupied with studies and project. sometimes i really think i should just leave everything behind. at most go big 4, which is not a bad choice~ why study so hard. get a life dude~ if u can't balance, take a side. hahaha~ i really wonder how are the others doing, do they really dun care or act cool? do they sleep as much as me? or worry as much as me? i dunno man, all my 23 years of life i have been like this, think too much, worry too much, just can't live out of my old self. tmd. i wan to! was browsing thru friendster and looking at all the photos of my friends. happening man~ then me leh? i think i should do something that i really enjoy, not related to academic or career. let me see.... maybe volunteer work. quite fulfilling, doing things for others and not urself! If there is one thing u can do now, what will u do?

Kian said I’m a S.G. (super girlfriend)! Haha… coz I pei him watch Liverpool match! We actually had a hard time finding a place to watch the soccer match, went searching all the way from sengkang, to hougang, to kovan… we even attempt to go hs house watch, but his house no SCV! …finally we found a place along the upper serangoon rd dat has a big big screen broadcasting ESPN. It’s a bar cum restaurant, called grapevine, nice atmosphere… pretty gd place to watch soccer… lotsa soccer fans there too… food is not ex oso… kian was really happy dat we managed to find this place! Haha… lotsa S.G.s there too, all pei-ing their boyfrens watch the match. But I’m the best, coz we observed the S.G.s, some ended up sleeping, others read magazine, got 2 gals talked abt their Bangkok trip… hey, I wasn’t eavesdropping, jus dat we r sitted quite close so can hear lor!
It has been a long time since Liverpool won 3-0, & kian was really happy abt it! i think my soccer knowledge really very ‘level up’ after so long wif kian. i used to noe zero abt soccer, now I can ‘talk soccer’ liao lor! Haha… I can identify the players by their names, noe who’s which club’s manager, distinguish between the ever so confusing many different kind of leagues, noe wat’s ‘offside’, ‘penalty’, ‘corners’, blahblahblah…. So proud of myself!

met up wif shihui & youchun ytd for a movie, followed by ktv until 6am... haha... orginally it was oni movie, but coz it was alr midnite after the movie, we decided to go ktv since midnite charge is alr a sunk cost. it feels so gd to hav fun & get high until the wee hrs of the morning after all the mugging & sch! the ktv was fun, me & kian keep saying we nv do 'homework' (listen to new songs) but apparantly sh & yc even worse off then us! haha... in the end me & kian r "radio station 93.3" while sh & yc r "station 95.8"!

all 4 of us think dat it's a good show... storyline is similar to macbeth by william shakespeare, how they fight over the kingdom & beauty, wif the poison wine at the banquet... but it's a pity wu yan zu & zhou xun end up like supporting casts instead of lead. the gals r really pretty, both zhang ziyi & zhou xun acted beautifully. there's oso scenes showing zhang ziyi baring her body, but sh said it's not her real self, oni use 'ti shen' one. i like the visual & effects, very nice... the fighting scenes r good too! everybody died in the end, dat's the sad part... it's oso showing dat man's desire for power is never ending, even the survival of the fittest will ultimately get killed by someone even more cunning. u nv noe who r in the dark waiting for u... so scary!

kian & I stayed over at hall9 ytd, coz we did 206 proj until very late, then got 830 classes somemore. he bunked in wif hongwei, while I slept wif cheryl & xinyi. So nice gossiping abt each other’s lives… gg to ah fang for prata & Indian rojak (hongwei drove of course!)… so long nv stay hall le, the old feelings jus came back, make me wanna go back to hall life again. Kian commented dat I look like an excited little gal, bouncing along the corridors of the hall, delighted dat I’m gg to stay here tonite!

Went hall 10 to visit gb, omg, his room was really messy! Nice doing some catching up wif him, ever since sch start, I havnt been catching up wif all my old frens… sigh… the life of a final yr… actually the modules r quite ok, jus dat I hasn’t been focusing… bleah!

met up wif s45 for a farewell dinner for wein as he's leaving for uk to study... originally wanted to eat at the new york restaurant in city link, but shihui say since he'll be gg to eat burgers & steaks for the nx 3 yrs, we shd hav chinese food... plus... we muz find a place dat has round table coz more "wen xin" like a family like dat. haha... finally settle wif yu chu @ marina square (the crystal jade imitation)... food & deco is totally like crystal jade, bain even tot it's crystal jade until we told her it wasnt! but we still din manage to find a round table & shihui was complaining coz ppl @ one end of the table always dunno wat the other end is talking abt! haha...

feels so good to meet up wif everyone again despite the busy schedule of each of us. now dat the guys had started sch, we r finally 'on the same freq' again! haha... yv was commenting dat she & guobin r the 'outcast' coz she's the oni gal who went smu while gb was the oni guy who went ntu! smu really muggers lor, jingzhong came from mugging in the library wif textbk in his hands! omg! & their library actually opened until 12am everyday!!!!!????? the guys r all complaining dat it's not bcoz they r muggers, but smu ppl really all mug until no day no nite one... so they've no choice but to mug. & they say smu this yr cut off was AAB! really so high meh?! *shake head*

happened to hav a voucher from biofocus, so went to hav a try! i think the atmosphere is really relaxing & the music is smoothing... really comfortable doing facial treatment there. originally wanted to do slimming too, but they say i underweight cannot! haha... no lah, talk cock!

Typical spore reality show abt how Singaporeans like to dream abt getting rich, making lotsa $$ so dat u can drive a BMW, live in a condo, enjoy the membership of a country club, blahblahblah…. But in the mist of climbing up the social ladder, u’ve neglect the feelings of those ard u, taking them for granted & even via wif ur family members for fortune left behind by the deceased.

This is a muz watch for singaporeans who r trapped in similar situation… will make them realized not everything can be bought by money… jus like kinship, frenship, love & trust, and most impt ur health& life. In the story, liu qian yi won 100million toto, but the very nx day, he died of a sudden heart attack. This is the irony of life, u may be dreaming to get rich ur whole life, but so wat? U might not even hav the life to enjoy the $$!

Competitiveness is oso driving everyone crazy. Parents scold their child for getting 95 marks for spelling instead of 100 marks, sending the poor child for tuitions when he’s only in kindergarden! In order to live a better life, to earn more $$, the husband is forced out of doing something he likes, into a job dat has a better career prospect but which he totally has no interest in doing, and thus of course wont perform well! N when he doesn’t earn enuff, the whole family will look down on him. Quote the wife, “ppl oni look at wat car u drive, wat house u live in, how much u earn!”

I think the movie gives a true reflection of typical sporeans. Unless u decide to emigrate to another country of a slower pace, there’s really nothing u can do to escape this reality of the society in spore. U’ve to outperform, outshine & outsmart others in order to survive. It’s all abt the “very valuable” piece of paper called the university graduation certificate. Dat’s y kids nowadays has no childhood, makes me realized y sengkang & punggol (new towns wif “this era” parents) has no street soccer court, coz the kids r all kept in the house by their parents to study! Haha… so of course no need lor! Come to think abt it, my parents oso belonged to this category of “kiasu” parents. From young, I learnt ballet, piano, speech & drama, abacus, swimming, art, blahblahblah… my wkends r always packed wif enrichment courses, but still I played catching under my blk, goes to the playground jus like other kids…. My parents used to tell me learning so many things r for my own good, it’s to cultivate me into a better person, so dat I’ll hav an edge over the rest of my mates. At dat time, I really feel great coz my classmates will envy dat I noe how to play the piano, how to dance ballet… even in sch, I’m picked to play the piano during music lessons for the class, selected to be the lead dancer during performances, acted in numerous staged dramas in theaters & took part in abacus & art competitions. I treasured all these memories as not everyone can get these experiences, but seriously, neither a grade8 piano cert nor a grade8 ballet cert nor any trophy can get me into the big4 or banks or mnc now! How can we make parents understand dat giving their child so many enrichment stuffs doesn’t give them an edge over their mates when they ultimately step into the working society?!

Nothing much to comment on this actually, jus like kian said, korean shows r really not very up to standard as compared to the US ones, but compared wif the other Korean movies it’s considered better than them. Story is abt family ties, how the youngest child of the family is kidnapped by a sea monster, bringing abt the union of family(previously the family is scattered wif each busy wif his/her own life) as they set out to rescue her despite all odds.

I like the little gal, I think her acting is good, & I feel sad dat after being so brave overcoming so much difficulties to stay alive, she still died at the end… & the family is not able to be reunited… I’m touched by how hard the family members tried to rescue their beloved apple of the family, even to the extend of giving up their lives…

was walking ard bugis where we came across the maybelline roadshow, & there's actually ppl there helping u 'makeover'... haha... helped me salvage my short short miserable eyelashes & small small eyes! tried their eyeliner, it's really good to use!

went to manhatten(the fish & co imitation) at PS to eat... food is good, atmosphere is good, but service is damn slow!!! it was soooooo slow dat i cannot take it & had to write a complain feedback! haha... kian even add in the line "please explained through email"!
this is the half eaten fish & chip which we waited for ages!dat's the seafood platter for one. i cant find any squids even thou in the menu they wrote there is! so... complain of course!me focusing seriously in giving my feedback! haha...

yup, my family had an accident, car was coming down the expressway when it skided, dad lost control of the car & it hit the barriers... luckily no one was hurt & they din hit onto any other cars, or else the consequences will be dire... scare me lor... my aunt says muz be our ancestors protecting us... my family were on their way to johor when this happened, so they believe this is smthing to stop them from gg to johor...

kian brought me to meritus mandrian hotel for their buffet dinner to celebrate our monthly anniversary. the food is really heaven (everything is sooooooo delicious!) ~~ but the price is "heaven" too! $65 per pax... haha... but for a first time experience, it's worth it! the service is good too, it's like those hotel dinner where they change a clean plate for u after every course. the utensils gave me a shock though, we r given like 3 forks(small, medium, large), 3 spoons(small, medium, large), 2 knives(kian say shd be 1 for meat 1 for seafood), blahblahblah... & we dunno how to use which for wat!! haha...

look at the lobster!! fantastic~~ the lobster soup is veryyyyy nice too~~

i think the chocolates r very cute~~ the dark chocolate r yummy (limin~~)! haha... kian dedicated the song 'Everyday I Luv U' to me~~ I'm totally amazed by the musicians ability to sing & play ANY songs dat u wan! haha...
