both kian & i took a day off ytd cos it's his bdae! off we went to relax ourselves away from the city life~~ haha... old ppl is like dat one, dun wan too xiong activities, we prefer doing some r&r and jus enjoy each other's company~~

prawn fishing at pasir ris~~ our first time at it, quite fun & interesting! both of us enjoyed ourselves tremendously~~ as we r the oni souls there, we got all the ponds to ourselves & we kept moving abt searching for our big big prawns! haha...

dinner at crystal jade~~ food was nice, & kian's carving of cereal prawns was satisfied. jf after spending a quarter of a yr in alaska thinks dat crystal jade oni sells tim sum as dat's wat they get in the US! lol... thus she was stunned by our spore crystal jade...

our gifts from darlings jf, shan & qn all the way from alaska! luv em lots~~ :)

went cartel for desserts & drinks after dinner while waiting for jf & shan's polish guy fren to come. as halloween is coming, all the waitress dressed up for the festival & we couldnt resist the urge to take a pic wif one of the vampires! lol... took this collage off limin's blog coz she still haven send me the pics!

kian's family went to Best last wkend to buy a plasma tv & his sis oso bought a lappi. as he was a Best OCBC credit card member, they got 8 times the lucky draw chances for every $50 spent. so can u imagine how many lucky draw coupons they r entitled to???!!! haha... i almost fainted when he told me they got almost a 1000 coupons to fill up! ppl get lucky draw coupons is a few pieces one, but they get them in booklets lor! lol...

luckily kian tot of a very clever method, dat is to use his name stamp instead of writing manually! dat way we oni need to fill in hp no & transaction code! haha... & since i'm sooooo free slacking in office everyday, this kinda admin job is of course for me~~ & in order to diversify our chances, we decided to go to the various Best stores to drop off our coupons! ok, kian will win the car! hehe...

kian & i went to try Out of the Pan at raffles city basement. k, i noe it's not new, it has been there for ages... but we always tend to jus walk pass it without giving it a tot! haha... we ordered the set meal, which comprised of a drink, a starter & the main course which is any crepe from the ala cart menu.

kian's starter: potato salad

jun's starter: fruits salad

kian's crepe: seafood fillings wrapped in tomato flavoured crust

jun's crepe: herbal lamb fillings wrapped in whole wheat crust

the crepe was sooooo super huge dat i can oni ate half of it & ta bao the rest back home! haha... but i think it was yummy! u can choose all types of fillings & there r oso diff crust for u to choose to go wif it! serving portion was huge too~~ definitely worth a try, thou the minus pt is price is not very cheap la...

life is so unpredictable, jus got the news dat my sec 4 emaths teacher serene lee passed away last mth due to childbirth complications. sigh... nv tot dat at this stage of medical advancement, there r still mothers who died while giving birth. it's jus so scary... to think dat e child wont hav a mother the moment he/she is borned, and the mum wont hav the opportunity to care for her children, watch them grow & continue wif a happy family... moreover, mrs serene ng is still so young... this is so depressing... & maine jus reminded me she's the emaths rep during our sec 4 days, can rem how serene lee always praised her for her brilliance at maths! haha... in short means arrowing her to do maths ques! sigh... those were the days...

mini gavi-fusion lunch at lau pa sat... (gavi: mook, xiaoben, kj & jun... fusion: yaozu & william) discovered dat william is jus nx door to me! lol... he's currently at ABN Amro, which is in the south tower of ORQ (one raffles quay) while i'm at the north. he seems to be doing quite well ( at slacking!), i forgot wat's e position but it's something related to accounting. even more qiao is dat his company is audited by EY, but too bad i'm not in GFS, or else maybe we'll be working tght le, coz currently our auditors r at his co. as for yaozu, he's still as busy as ever! lol... but it was a nice get-tght chit chat session...

jun just got herself a facebook account! lol! *faints* i'm sure everyone of u who tried to friendster me nv succeed coz jun doesnt hav a friendster account in the first place as i totally hav no interest in it! but now i actually went to sign up for facebook. haha... oso dunno wat's wrong wif me! but hav to credit jie who told me facebook can upload photos at ultra speed & u can store lotsa lotsa photos. plus tc keep nagging me to get an account so dat he can turn me into a vampire & earn points. *faints again* the most impt reason is actually coz jun is bored... after slacking soooooooooooo long wif no jobs, jun needs to find something else to entertain her besides all the online spree, blogs, etc. so it's time to find all my long time no see frenz~~

went to eat Coca, a steamboat restaurant at taka lvl 4, wif yx couple. it was a disaster man... service was so terrible dat we wrote an essay-full of complains! though the food is fresh, place is posh & the restaurant grp is operating all over Asia, but the $33++ is definitely not worth it at all! :( the staffs there r a joke too... there's this waiter who puts on make up, not oni blusher but thick mascara on curled eyelashes! & he doesnt even noe wat sotong is!!! *faints* then there's this aunty who refused to serve us jus bcoz she's not assigned to our area! *faints again*

we got so pissed off dat we asked for a feedback form to lodge a complain but they dun even hav one. omg! in the end we hav to write on a blank piece of paper! luckily the manager noe how to zuo ren by taking off the service charge. but we din let them off so easily of course, wrote a full page of feedback for the GM. lol!

played mj at sifang's house ytd... & highlight of the day was we played 2hrs of dong coz sifang kept diao-ing! *faints* dat's the longest dong i've ever played & in the end we cant even complete 1 round after playing for 4 hrs! jun won money eventually thou... hehe...

totally noe nothing abt this series of movies dat's based on the famous video game Resident Evil. kian watch the previous 2 parts thou... overrall i think not bad lah. it was not scary, but it was frightening... coz the zombies will suddenly appeared & make me jumped out of my seat! i was on the verge of having a heart attack at the peak of the show... maybe coz i was too absorbed, so even the slightest sound will make me jump! eventually i watched the movie wif my eyes half covered~~ bleah!

but i think it's a movie dat e guys will wanna watch, coz the video game was really popular during their era. at least ck oso noe abt the movie when we mentioned dat we r watching! lol!

kian says dubai is an interesting place, esp the buildings... but i think dat's bcos he can oni see buildings from inside his cab!lol! he hasnt done any sight-seeing nor step into any malls yet... & i doubt he'll hav the time to anyway...
due to the fact dat it's ramaden period, it's required by the law that everybody ends work at 2pm in dubai. but he actually sms me at 11pm(spore time) to tell me he's still at work!!! :( dat's 7pm in dubai, which means he has worked 5hrs of OT le... boo the ministry!

kian is currently in Dubai, 7 hrs away from me by flight & 4 hrs of time diff, doing internal audit for the ministry.

decided to research a bit on this foreign country which sounds so alien to me... Dubai is one of the seven emirates that constitute United Arab Emirates(UAE) in the eastern Arabian Peninsula, located in the Middle East.

had difficulty finding dubai on the map!lol~

royal ascot hotel, kian's accom there~ a 5 stars hotel~

william says things in dubai r super cheap, but guess kian wont hav time to shop of course! :(
