i'm a big fan of sophie kinsella, ever since I started on her shopaholic series recommended by my sister (way b4 e movie), I’ve read every book written by her. Twenties gal was her latest book published in 2009, ok I noe I’m half a yr late, but dat’s bcos e book was so exp when it first came out! So I kept waiting for some promotion b4 I finally bought it. Haaha… typical me!
This is another light-hearted & hilarious book which can make me laugh even on public trains, e usual kinsella’s style… I like her books cos it’s easy to read (e author dun use bombastic words) and they often make u look at life from another perspective. Jus like in e book where they described old folks as “All that white hair and wrinkled skin is just cladding.... They were all young, with love affairs and friends and parties and an endless life ahead of them”. Makes u tink abt e 老人 ard us, who r actually not some boring, stern & cranky老人but r jus as fun loving & rebellious like us!

current book i'm reading:

Bought e book at e HMV sales last yr (by e way, they r still selling books @ 2 for $20 now, super good deal!), but casted it aside after reading e first few chapters. Recently kk arose my interest in this book again, he was super crazy abt it & kept raving dat he wanna go Italy cos of e book. So I took it out of my bookshelf again n started on it a 2nd time. Surprisingly, e feeling was totally diff from e first time I tried reading last yr. ok, this shows dat first impression can be misleading…
I wanna go another country to embark on a new life journey too…
